Physicians

A physician is sometimes appointed to manage a patient’s medical needs. If this is required, your surgeon will nominate one of our expert accredited physicians.

Nursing staff

Our Neuroscience units are staffed with highly qualified and motivated nursing teams.

Nursing teams are led by the nurse unit manager (NUM), who is supported by the associate nurse unit manager on each shift. Our general nursing staff is motivated by the mission and values of the hospital and care for our patients with compassion and professionalism.

We have a large nursing education team promoting continuous professional development actively amongst the nursing staff. The position of clinical coach has been introduced to further consolidate the education and development of the neuroscience nursing staff.

Allied health staff

Our highly qualified Allied Health staff includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nutritionists, social workers, discharge coordinators, orthotics specialists, and pharmacists.

Your surgeon or the NUM will refer you if you require the services of these teams.
